Soften ice cream by allowing it to stand at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes.
Spoon the softened ice cream into a large bowl. Transfer ½ cup of the Sunday Night Chocolate Premium Dessert Sauce to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave oven on high for 30 seconds or until just pourable but not hot. Using a wooden spoon, stir sauce into ice cream until thoroughly combined.
To serve Immediately, spoon softened ice cream into serving bowls and drizzle with the remaining chocolate sauce (warm sauce first in microwave oven, if desired). Serve with cookies (if using).
To serve later, spoon ice cream into a freezer container or a loaf pan lined with plastic wrap. Cover tightly and freeze until firm, about 4 hours or up to 1 month. Serve as directed.
