Sweet + salty breakfast flourless crepes
Eating some protein for breakfast helps improve kids' concentration and energy, and it aids in repair and recovery. This sweet and salty, flourless crepe is surprisingly made with eggs and bananas. The eggs and peanut butter add protein and our Premium Chocolate Sauce adds the perfect amount of sweetness to ensure they eat the whole thing!
Ingredients for the flourless crepes:
- 1 banana
- 2 eggs
- Blend banana and eggs in blender. Pour a thin layer into a non-stick sauce pan over medium heat. (Keep it thin to ensure its crepe consistency). Watch them closely because they will be lightly brown in under 3 minutes!
Crepe filling:
- 2 tablespoons Dark Chocolate + Sea Salt Premium Chocolate Sauce
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
Crepe topping:
- 2 tablespoons Dark Chocolate + Sea Salt Premium Chocolate Sauce, microwaved for 20 seconds
Spread the chocolate sauce and peanut butter mixture on a cooked crepe, fold it in half, and then drizzle with warm Premium Chocolate Sauce.
You can substitute peanut butter for almond butter or cashew butter.
